March in the garden and on the allotment
from Sarah Booth at sportsmanscorner, 2020Cane+Rush at sportsmanscorner
Spring refusing to be beaten or bowed by Covid-19, the Coronavirus that is polluting our very well being and existence. Rhubarb popping up in the allotment in 3 different places with more abundantly growing in the garden. The first shoots of red and green gooseberry bushes beginning to thrive in the late March sunshine. Pretty cerise pinks and burgundy from clumps of primroses and the flowering redcurrants. With dainty purple petals of wild violets peeking through in shady spots in the garden. Artichokes makeing their triumphant appearance again for the coming year. So much to look forward to in the garden at sportsmanscorner and on the allotment close by.
